.: eye candy :.

When I was working in Tribeca, my absolute favorite shoe store I used to visit during my lunch break was Edon Manor. This jewel box of a boutique carries some of the most sought after designers from Alaia, Givenchy, Giambattista, Sergio Rossi, Dries, Mulberry, Derek Lam...oh my!

Given that I work in the fashion industry, my paycheck definitely did not allow me to indulge in these fabulous designer shoes...but this didn't stop me from drooling over not only the shoes, but the beautiful decor.

Designed to look like a modern English library, the store is filled with Paris-flea-market finds and custom pieces. Neatly stacks of fashion and design books serve as pedestals for the lovely shoes. Ryan Kobran, Edon Manor's creative director, describes the design concept for the space as "English country library turned chic." (He is also Alexander Wang's interior designer.)
